1. Listen and learn – listening is a fundamental part of our stakeholder engagement approach. The KIP|TMS team is dedicated to sitting down and hearing your story. Learning about the unique challenges you’ve faced, the obstacles you’ve overcome, and the roadblocks that are still in your way. We have to understand where you’ve been so that we can help you chart a roadmap to where you’re going.
  2. Research – the next step is to perform the relevant research to ensure our work is as thorough as possible. Not only do we have to understand you and your competitors, but we also need to understand your customers and why they choose you over other options. To do this we need to craft questions, conduct surveys and interviews, and engage in stakeholder consultations to make sure we get the right insights.
  3. Plan – this phase includes refining the target account list, account mapping, and grouping the buying committee by influence, interest, and information needs. We will also identify key opportunities for engagement and develop the project output – typically a stakeholder engagement strategy. The strategy includes risks and benefits, accountabilities, key messaging, priorities, budget, and reporting requirements.
  4. Implement – a range of engagement and messaging will be deployed to your audiences via the most appropriate channels. This communication is tailored to build on existing stakeholder relationships and establish new ones as appropriate.
  5. Evaluate – as part of the stakeholder engagement strategy, we recommend ways to measure the impact that the program has had. This includes secondary interviews with key stakeholder groups within an appropriate timeframe to ensure that the strategy has delivered against its objectives.
